Where being the black sheep meets divine purpose
Meet "Black Sheep" - a powerful monochrome portrait that captures both the gentle nature and profound symbolism of this misunderstood creature. This striking piece features a contemplative black sheep resting peacefully in lush green grass, rendered in my signature blending style with meticulous attention to the texture of its woolly coat, fluffy head and the serene expression in its eyes.
The sheep's peaceful demeanour contrasts beautifully with the vibrant green background, creating a sense of tranquil acceptance despite being different from the flock. Every detail of the wool's texture and the gentle facial features has been hand-painted with careful precision using my signature monochrome technique.
Personal & Spiritual Significance:This piece holds deep personal meaning as someone who has always been the "black sheep" of the family - different, independent, and following my own path. Rather than seeing this as negative, I've come to embrace it as a spiritual calling. Black sheep represent authenticity, courage to be different, and the strength to stand apart from conformity.

They represent the journey of the soul seeking guidance and the importance of staying true to oneself even when it means standing alone. Where spiritual healing meets artistic discovery
"Divine Forgiveness" - a stunning purple rose that marks the beginning of my signature monochrome journey and my first experimentation with the transformative power of purple. This delicate yet powerful piece captures the essence of forgiveness in its purest form, rendered against a soft turquoise background that creates a sense of peace and renewal.
The rose showcases intricate petal details with each layer carefully painted to capture the natural beauty and symbolic depth of this timeless flower. The rich purple tones create depth and movement, while the gentle shadows and highlights bring the bloom to life with remarkable realism.
Spiritual Significance & Healing Through Art:
This piece was born from deep contemplation on the dual nature of forgiveness - both giving and receiving - during a time of personal grief. Forgiveness is one of the most profound spiritual acts we can perform, freeing not only those we forgive but liberating our own hearts from the weight of resentment. Creating "Divine Forgiveness" became a meditative practice, allowing me to work through complex emotions of loss while exploring the necessity of forgiveness for others and ourselves during difficult times. The rose, a universal symbol of love and beauty, becomes a vessel for this sacred message. Art becomes a sacred space where we can transform pain into beauty, grief into grace.
Artistic Journey Beginning:
"Divine Forgiveness" represents my first exploration into purple monochrome painting - the experimental phase that began my search for the perfect signature purple. Through trial and technique with this initial purple tone, this piece became the foundation that led me to discover the darker, more vibrant purple that would ultimately become my distinctive signature colour. This rose marks the beginning of that artistic journey, showing the experimentation that was necessary to find the rich, deep purple that now defines my monochrome portraits and spiritual artwork.
The turquoise background symbolizes tranquillity, emotional healing, and the peaceful state that follows true forgiveness. Together with the purple rose, it creates a harmonious balance between earthly beauty and divine grace.

Where Irish heritage meets healing hearts
"Divine Luck" - a heartfelt tribute to our Irish heritage and the second piece in my purple monochrome experimentation journey. This luminous shamrock was created during a time of grief and gifted to loved ones as a symbol of hope, luck, and the enduring strength found in family bonds.
The shamrock showcases rich purple tones with each leaf carefully detailed to capture the natural beauty and symbolic power of this beloved Irish symbol. The ethereal glow surrounding the clover creates a sense of divine protection and blessing, while the turquoise background evokes the peaceful waters of Ireland.
Honouring Irish Heritage:
The shamrock holds deep significance in Irish culture, representing faith, hope, love, and luck. During times of grief, these symbols become even more meaningful - reminding us of the blessings that remain and the luck we find in having loved ones to share our journey with.
Gifts of Love During Loss:
This piece was created to be shared, gifted to family members during a difficult time as a reminder that even in grief, we are blessed with each other. Sometimes the greatest luck we have is the love that surrounds us when we need it most.
